After School FAQ

Q. How to Studio classes work? A. Students attend class once a week for each 8 week session. At the end of the session the student's project will be complete and they will be ready to move on to the next level of that subject, or move to a new subject.

Q. Do you take school holidays and breaks? A. We do not take Monday Holidays, and most school breaks. We'll be sure to communicate with you if class is not in session though. 

Q. What do I do If my child has to miss a class? A. Please let us know as soon as possible. Your child can make up the lesson with another class of the same type if one is available, and if not, they can attend the make up day we have at the end of the session. We also work to make sure everyone gets caught up during class if they have missed. 


Q. What forms of payment to you accept? A. Cash, or Check made out to Youth Digital Studio. No credit cards please. 

Q. When is payment due? A. Please send in your $50 deposit when you register. Then your balance can be paid either in full on the first day of class, or in two payments, in the first and 5th weeks of class. If you need to make alternative arrangements please let us know. 

Q. What is the average class size? A. Our average class size is 4 students, and our maximum class size is 6 students. 

Q. Can I drop my child off? A. We'd like for you to come in on the first day, and after that you are welcome to drop off, or stay in our waiting area. 


Summer Programs FAQ

Q. What is the student teacher ratio? A. Our maximum ratio is 1 on 5. 

Q. Will my child be staring at a computer screen all day? A. No. While this is computer camp, a significant amount of the design process is done away from computers so their creativity has a chance to stretch it's legs!

Q. Does my child need to bring anything? A. Only a lunch and 1 or 2 snacks. 


Q. Can I order lunch? A. Yes. We are working with McAlister's again this year to provide lunches. You must sign up for lunches before your child's week of camp begins. 

Q. How many students will be in camp with my child? A. Your child will be in a group of no more than 10 students of similar ages so that they receive individual attention on their projects, and learn at the right pace for them.

Q. Will my Child have a blast? A. You bet. 

Parties FAQ

Q. How many students can attend? A. Up to 10 students. No parent Chaperones are necessary, but adults are welcome to congregate in our waiting area. 

Q. What about Cake? A. Everyone has their favorite things, so you are welcome to bring in whatever refreshments you wish to serve.
Q. What will they be doing? A. You may choose between an more educational party, where your friends will learn to create a quick App or video game together, or, they can join together for a Minecraft adventure!

Q. How long can the party last? A. Parties last 2 hours.
